Teeter EP-560 Inversion Table For Back Pain Relief

Teeter is the only FDA-Cleared inversion table that relieves sciatic pain and other disc related back pain. Teeter uses what they call “Progressive Decompression” which means each disc is decompressed by the same body weight that compresses it while upright, so, by simply relieving the pressure you relieve the pain.

A published preliminary pilot study compared two groups of sciatic pain patients scheduled for lower back surgery. While all patients received physical therapy, only the group that incorporated the 2-minute Teeter regimen, 3 times per week, for 30 days reduced their need for surgery by 70.5%.

Using gravity and your own body weight, Teeter decompresses to help rejuvenate the discs, relieve pressure on nerves, realign the spine, and release muscle tension.

Teeter is also very easy to use, just lock in, recline and relax just a few minutes a day. The greater the angle, the greater the stretch, but you don’t need to fully invert to experience relief.

Some Frequently Asked Questions

  • Does This Inversion Table Fold For Storage?

Yes, no disassembly required. Storage dimensions are 20″ x 29″ x 66″.

  • Are There Health Issues That Would Prevent Me From Inverting?

Practically anyone can benefit from using a Teeter on a regular basis. Most normally healthy individuals are able to invert. Be sure to check with your doctor before starting any exercise program.

  • Do I Have To Invert To A Full 90 Degrees To Get The Full Benefits?

No! Benefits start at a mild angle of 20 degrees. To fully decompress the spine, work up to 60 degrees (the angle of the rear legs). The Angle Tether allows the user to easily pre-set the angle of inversion so you never go farther than you want. It’s interesting to note, however, that over half of all Teeter customers do routinely fully invert (“lock-out” at 90 degrees) because they like the way it feels and enjoy the added freedom of movement for stretching and exercise.

  • How Often Should I Invert?

Frequency is more important than duration. Teeter recommends inverting several times a day. Inversion is great for waking-up, recovering after a workout, or de-stressing before bed.

Final Thoughts

Teeter has been manufacturing inversion equipment since 1981. Teeter is still the inversion market leader, their premium brand of quality inversion products for home, clinical and commercial fitness are used by more people than any other brand.

The quality and stability of the EP-560 is obvious due to its tubular steel construction and weight. For the money, this is one of the best inversion tables on the market today and is an excellent choice for all levels of chronic back pain sufferers.

My hubby has been suffering from severe sciatic nerve pain in his right leg for years and inversion therapy is the only treatment that allows him to function pain-free on a regular basis.
